RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly confirm the following appointment made by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia to the Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission pursuant to § 17.1-802 of the Code of Virginia:

Ernest P. Gates, 8601 Waterfowl Flyway, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832, Chairman of the Commission for a term of four years to expire November 30, 2004, to succeed himself.
