2000 SESSION
WHEREAS, Dr. Lerla G. Joseph has expanded her family medicine practice from rural Charles City County to the Manchester Medical Building in South Richmond; and
WHEREAS, a graduate of Wake Forest University's Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Dr. Joseph has continually worked to increase the availability of comprehensive medical care to underserved populations; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Joseph's approach to health care includes not just medical services, but illness prevention, physical fitness, and good nutrition; and
WHEREAS, beloved by her patients and an asset to the communities she serves, Dr. Lerla G. Joseph cares for both the health of the community and the health of her patients; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly commend Dr. Lerla G. Joseph for her dedication to the citizens and communities of Charles City County and South Richmond and congratulate her on the expansion into Richmond of the Charles City Medical Group; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Dr. Lerla G. Joseph as an expression of the General Assembly's gratitude for her service to the citizens of the Commonwealth.
