000223848Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 18.2-48.2 as follows:
§ 18.2-48.2. Impeding a public sidewalk or walkway; penalty.
If any person without authority of law blocks or impedes access to any public sidewalk or public walkway with the intent to prevent the free movement of any other person on the sidewalk or walkway, he is guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor.
