Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 17.1-275.6 as follows:

§ 17.1-275.6. Fees collected for court reporter fund.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, fees collected under this article for deposit into the court reporter fund shall be retained locally and shall not be subject to the provisions of § 17.1-286.
