CHAPTER 434 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Chapter 1 of Title 15.2 a section numbered 15.2-107.1, relating to advertisement of legal notices on Web sites. [H 1255] Approved April 4, 2000

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 1 of Title 15.2 a section numbered 15.2-107.1 as follows:

§ 15.2-107.1. Advertisement of legal notices on Web sites.

In addition to any requirements that a locality advertise legal notices in a newspaper having a general circulation in the locality, such notices may also be published on the locality's World Wide Web site.
